Law of "genocide"
Regarding the situation of the genocide of Rwanda there has been a new law put into act. This law states that all nations of the U.N may not have a “superior” group that will be leaders or “ in charge” or favored. No matter how someone looks, acts, of what religion they practice they will not be any negative judgment towards them. There will be no violent act towards any group nor will there be any raping or any negative acts towards innocent people. Killing, raping, or injuring people will not go unnoticed anyone who commits such an horrific act will suffer consequences. If any negative act of “genocide” occurs anyone involved will be looking forward to consequences. Any act of killing of 100 or ore people is considered a “genocide” the word “genocide” should not be used unless there is a mass killing of 100 or more people. Any killing under 100 people will be considered murder and the murderer(s) will face jail time for life.

1. The Belgians created a rigid system because they would have more power.
2. The Belgians thought that the Tutsis were the more superior group because they were more "white".
3.The Hutu's declared independence in 1959.
4. Greg wa Kayabanda was the Hutu's first president.
5.No the Hutu leadership did not end the racial classification.

“U.S relations with China is a necessary evil”
China has always been trying to be number one. China and the Untied States get along but they “compete” to be on the top. After WWI China was in disorder and ,Sun Yat-sen stepped down leaving rival groups fighting for power. In the 1930’s Mao Zedong was the leader of communists. Mao led a march called the long march. The long march consisted of 100,000 of Mao’s followers, and only 20,000 people survived the long march.
During WWII Civil War ceased order to fight Japanese forces. The communists and the Nationalists fought against the Japanese invasion. In 1949 Communists are victorious and the Nationalists fled to Taiwan. Mao was successful because he won the support of the huge peasant population by promising to give land to peasants, Mao won the support of women by rejecting religious beliefs. Many people opposed Nationalists government because of corruption, and the chinese felt that Nationalists had allowed foreigners to dominate China.
In 1958 Mao had a program called The great leap forward. He called on people to increase industrial and agricultural output. In the 1970’s China won admission to the United Nations. When president Richard Nixon visited Mao in 1972 the U.S officially recognized the peoples republic of China. In 1976 Mao died and Deng Xiaoping took over for Mao. Deng brought more economic freedom but little political change.
Britain had gained Hong Kong but in 1997 Hong Kong was turned over to China. China agreed not to interfere with social or economic policies of Hong Kong for 50 years.Today in china they have one of the most fastest economy’s in the world. In the United States we rely on exports from China. China has the largest population of 1.3 billion people.
I think that even though China and the United States are competing to be on top that it is not a bad thing and the no matter what happens China and the United States should still remain as friends and not enemies.

Tension
What sources of tension, new and old in the middle east are revealed by the film? In the Middle East there is lots of fighting. There has been many casualties from all the fighting, there are signs of destruction and fighting just driving down the high way, such as tanks, dead men, bomb holes, etc. Benghazi is not a safe place in the Middle East there is lots of violence and it is very dangerous. In Benghazi many young men are being recruited to fight. Libya has sent soldiers to Iraq to kill American soldiers. Giddafi. wants to kill the people of Benghazi and the people of Benghazi are trying to overthrow Giddafi. Oil has been a huge problem with the high prices and trouble getting it because the middle east is where most of the oil is found. In the first two weeks of the libya crisis oil prices have rose. Oil production has not been as high as before say Abadallah.

Global Connections.
Lebanon!
What role have natural resources played in the politics and economy of the Middle east?
With natural resources there wouldn’t be depression.
Describe the countries physical geography.
Lebanon is a Narrow Costal Plain. Lies on the easter side of the Mediterranean sea, a narrow costal plain.
What is the climate? Mid to cool, wet winters with hot dry summers, Lebanon mountains experience heavy winter snows.
Does this country have a fresh water supply? Yes, several large rivers, but in the summer Lebanon's water supply can be as little as 3 hours a day.
What industries does the country support? Manufacturing and Farming grapes, tomatoes, etc. -5%

Who should have possesion????
The causes of the Cold War was that Iraq, Syria, and Libya joined the Soviet camp but mistrusted the former colonial rulers in the West. Each of the allies had a super power who was selling them weapons. The United States helped Israel and the Soviet Union helped aid the Arabs. After each Arab-Israeli war the superpowers ( United States and Soviet Union) rearmed their allies with expensive new weapons. In 1967 Israeli won lots of land that the Arabs tried to fight to get the land back numerous times but failed. Israel and the United States obviously does not like the Soviet Union or the Arabs and the Soviet Union and the Arabs obviously don't like the United States and Israel. I think that the Jews should have possession of Jerusalem because it was promised to them by God.

Unit Three, Why do they hate us?
1. What questions do you have about the reading? How might they be answered?
What policies of the U.S do Muslims don’t like? They might be answered by looking up the policies Muslims dislike.
What U.S. policies do most Muslims hate and why? If you need more information, how might you find it?
The Muslims might hate that the U.S supports Israel by sending them billions in financial and military aid.
Why might acknowledging that U.S. policies have anything to do with jihadist attacks be seen as "politically incorrect" and "blaming the victim"?
Despite a year of effort by Obama's special envoy George Mitchell to move the Israelis and Palestinians toward a negotiated two-state solution, there's been no visible progress. Why not? If you need more information, how might you find it?
I think that there has been no visible progress because the war for independence in 1948 brought the Israelis and Palestinians together to form Israel and the U.S supports Israel.
How and why are the people of Gaza suffering? If you need more information, how might you find it?
The people of Gaza might be suffering from limited food commodities an medications are still in effect.
